About

Hi, I’m Andrew — the person behind True North Thoughts.

I started this blog because life moves fast, and somewhere along the way, I realized I stopped giving myself the space to pause and actually make sense of everything I was carrying. I wanted a place where I could step back, reflect, and be honest about who I am, what I’ve learned, and where I’m heading next.

Writing, for me, is a way to steady the compass a bit. I’m hoping it helps me gather my thoughts, look at my life with more intention, and understand myself better than I have in a long time.

I live in the Northeast, where most of my days revolve around working hard and taking care of my family. I’m a father of three incredible kids who mean the world to me. They’re a big part of what drives me, grounds me, and keeps me focused on becoming the best version of myself.

Beyond that, I’m someone who finds meaning in small things:
quiet moments, long drives, new places, music that fits the moment, and conversations that actually go somewhere. I’ve traveled enough to know that the places you visit can change you, and that sometimes clarity comes when you’re far from home.

True North Thoughts is where I’ll share the pieces of life that matter most to me — the lessons, the memories, the shifts in perspective, and the things we don’t always talk about out loud. Some posts will be personal. Some reflective. Some will simply be moments I don’t want to forget.

I’m not here to pretend I have everything figured out. I’m here to understand, to reflect, and to grow — one honest thought at a time.

Thanks for being here.
